FindGlass undertakes to provide a warranty under the following conditions:
- Car glass replacement warranty ensures that for 24 (twenty-four) months after the vehicle has been returned to the customer, FindGlass will repair any defects that have arisen due to poor quality spare parts, service errors, incorrect use of materials or incorrect workmanship free of charge. The warranty is valid for 24 (twenty-four) months from the moment the vehicle is handed over to the customer after the repair work, unless FindGlass or the spare parts manufacturer has specified a different warranty period.
- Auto glass repairs are covered by a lifetime warranty! If, for example, a windshield that has been repaired cracks again in the repaired area, FindGlass undertakes to compensate the customer for the cost of the repair work in the form of a discount on the purchase or installation of a new windshield.
- During the warranty period, any defects found in the vehicle that have arisen for the reasons specified in point 1 of this warranty certificate will be repaired by replacing the defective spare part or by carrying out the appropriate vehicle repair work.
- During the warranty period, the warranty conditions shall remain unchanged and the warranty period shall not be extended for replacement spare parts (car windows, moldings, clips, sensor gels, etc.) or repair work carried out on the vehicle.
- The warranty does not cover natural wear and tear. It also does not cover scratches on car windows, dents, damage to the bodywork, damage to the paint/varnish coating and other mechanical damage that has occurred after the car has been handed over to the user. All claims are accepted until departure from the FindGlass service.
- The warranty does not cover used, repaired or customer-supplied spare parts installed on the vehicle, as well as new spare parts if the vehicle has been involved in a traffic accident that affects the strength of the bodywork, the correct body geometry, visible corrosion and other similar cases.
- The warranty only applies to those vehicle repair services and replacement spare parts specified in the repair estimate or service order attached to this certificate or in the invoice and which meet the conditions specified in this certificate.
- In the event of a warranty claim, the customer must contact FindGlass within 10 working days and present the vehicle or submit a free-form application electronically, attaching images confirming the nature of the case, selecting the topic “Warranty” via the FindGlass contact form. The form is available here. If, before contacting FindGlass, the customer has taken any action, either personally or through third parties, that is directly or indirectly aimed at the object of the service, including additional repairs or improvements, they lose the right to make any claims regarding the non-compliance of the service provided with the quality requirements and to receive any related compensation. The terms used in the warranty certificate correspond to the terms used in the General Terms and Conditions for Vehicle Restoration Services, and any issues and legal relations between the parties that are not specified and agreed upon in this certificate shall be resolved in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for Vehicle Refurbishment Services and the regulatory enactments in force in the Republic of Latvia. The warranty provided in this warranty certificate does not affect the customer’s rights of claim as set out in the regulatory enactments in force in the Republic of Latvia.
